8. Billy McBride Special: fun fitness and community building, and on-going program, 4 sessions on Wednesdays. Mr. Mc Bride is a coach at Amherst college, for 49er and a community building/motivational speaker. He joins with the keystone team to give a very special interactive day!
9. Arthritis Improvement program with sundance rehab; runs 6 weeks, twice a week. this is our second round with this arthritis/joint improvement exercise program. The class is certified by the Arthritis Assoc of america and given by p.T. Paul mc Closkey of Sundance Rehab.
10. Mother’s facial party with Mary Kay counselor, 5/10 10am.

1. Chair Yoga every monday afternoon with fitness trainer Lyn Hopkins..adapted just for seniors!
2. Chair exercise with LE Director Reenie Harwell once a week; balance, stretching, range-of-motion, deep breathing techniques; Some standing exercises using chair as needed for balance..
3. Weight Training – every Thursday with YMCA instructor who monitors and adjusts indivudal plans as necessary.
4. Walking Club – on-going, weather permitting.
5. SPECIAL: starting on 4/25, Professional football Player and Coach at Amherst College Billy McBride ‘kicks off” a community-building and fun fitness series at the Gardens. Theme song: “Get Offa That Thing!” There will be 4 sessions with Mr. McBride culminating in an outdoors “Olympics” and graduation with refreshments.
6. Line Dancing twice a month, a new group!
COGNITIVE:
1. US History, once a week, currently discussing Western expansion and Mormonism, lead by Reeni Harwell, LE Director.

2. The Garden Belles of Keystone Woods, meets monthly to plan social event, parties and lunch outs. Also fundraise for
donations to local charities, such as Food Pantry, local schools, churches and various programs in the community.
3. Activity Planning committee meets monthly to share in choices and implementation of programs.
4. Food Committee – suggestions on dining and food choices, once a month.
5. Resident Council – once a month with executive Director and Department Heads and resident Board to discuss any issues at large in the community.
6. The Knitting club, meets 2x/mo, run by residents and works on various projects for gifting to the community.

3. Weight Training with instructor from the YMCA once a week, offering individualized porgrams and supervision.

ENTERTAINMENT:
1. Irish Music Guy, 3/6 6:30pm..varied instruments, songs and jokes from Ireleand, a favorite St. Pat;’s gig.
2. Irish Humor Night with Bill Kelleher, one of our residents, 3/13 6:30pm.
3 ‘Yellowstone in the Winter” a slide show given by Naturalist Sonya Vickers, the daughtr of one of our residents, who has jsut returned from Yellowstone. Sonya is a biologist/photographer who travels extensively and uses a high powered microscope to examine many things she brings home. Her slides and commentary are amazing. We will see many pics of wolves and winter life at Yellowstone.
4. Tony Rarus singer/guitar, 3/3 2pm. A favorite.
5. Sarah Michaels fiddler will serenade residents during our St. Pat’s dinner party, 3/16.
COGNITIVE:
1. The Book club, reads a novel and discussion once a month.

2. Make Your Own Jewelry with Sandy Merrill, who brings a hugh assortment of beads and stones for beading; vary popular.
GAMES:
1. Dominoes 2x/wk; Mah Jongg 1x/wk; Bingo 3x/wk; cards nightly.
HEALTH:
1. Oral health Series with Hygienist students from a local college; extensive program with many components, 4 in series.
2. Heart Health, 4 in series, UMAss Nursing students will present and give free Blood Pressure readings.
3. ‘Managing Pain” with staff from Sundance, the Director Paul McCloskey, 3/13.
4. Arthritis exercise Class, once a week, given by Paul mcCloskey who is certified in this special course.
5. Relaxation to Music with music Therapist john Thorp who uses many instruments and tibetan bowls to achieve sound effects and vibrations in a meditation setting.
RECREATION:
1. Wine & Cheese, 2 Sunday pms/mo.
2. Movies on weekends; eg “Touring Ireland”, “Fiddler On the Roof”, etc
