The monthly rent at Grayson House at Keystone Woods covers most cost-of-living expenses. Included with your apartment rent, you will receive these additional services.

The Cottage at Grayson House provides a residential, comfortable, home-like neighborhood with cozy apartments and common areas filled with sunshine. Our well-designed memory care apartments, located on the first floor in a distinct secure wing of Grayson House Assisted Living Residence, are specifically designed to serve the needs of our residents, with their safety and comfort foremost in mind.

Each private apartment is equipped with a private bathroom and a kitchenette including sink, cabinets and small refrigerator. The Cottage Memory Care Neighborhood has been designed to encourage feelings of familiarity and security. Subtle paint colors and carpet textures, furniture in casual sitting groups for residents and family members to father and visit, all contribute to the “homey” atmosphere.

Secure & Private Wing

The Cottage Memory Care Wing is secure, and the layout of the building helps keep all of our memory care residents in easy contact with our staff. Our Memory Care Neighborhood features an attractive carpeted dining room with a juice and fruit bar and “country kitchen”, several gathering areas with homey living room appeal including one with a piano, and an enclosed, patio area. Our secure exterior seating area provides our residents with a safe environment to enjoy the fresh air, spring flowers and autumn foliage from a bench on the patio. Families can rest assured that we are keeping a good eye on their loves ones, and that they are well cared for, comfortable and secure.

Customized, Personal Care

Our Health and Wellness Director and Executive Director have more than forty years of combined expertise in working with the senior population, with extensive experience in caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and memory impairment. Our entire staff is highly trained and deeply committed to working toward memory enhancement with their wonderful communication and hands-on skills. We ensure that highly qualified staff are available on location twenty-four hours a day, seven days per week, exclusively dedicated to our memory care residents.

Our dedicated staff works individually with each of our memory care residents to create a personalized program of care and activities. We know that it is important for our residents to be able to continue to enjoy the activities that bring them joy – whether it is crafts, baking, singing, gardening, or other activities.

Our Activities Director works with each and every resident to devise an activities program to suit his or her individual needs and desires.
