Club Keystone Commitment to Seniors

As a symbol of our commitment to provide our residents with a happier, healthier and more active lifestyle, Keystone Senior presents Club Keystone. This club, available at no charge to all Keystone Senior residents, provides the basis for all activities and events at our communities.

Club Keystone activities include the many and varied programs, events, physical, educational and social activities every day at Keystone Senior. However, as a Club Keystone member, you will experience so much more. Want to get involved as a volunteer? We will help arrange that for you. Always wanted to take piano or painting lessons? Let us help set that up. Interested in a riverboat gambling trip? Let’s do it! French lessons? Oui, Mademoiselle. We could go on, but you get the point. As a Club Keystone member not only will you be able to take part in the many group activities offered at your community, but you will know you can count on us to help you pursue whatever your interests are.

Shopping Days
Ready, Set, Shop!!! Come take advantage of Keystone’s shopping trip transportation service. Our drivers will take you from the community lobby to the door of the shopping center and back again. Weekly grocery shopping trips rotate between local super markets (King Sooper/Safeway), Super Target and the Walmart Supercenter. In addition, throughout the year, shopping trips will be offered to local farmers markets, mall/department stores and discount stores. Sit back, relax and leave the driving to us.

Entertainment
Keystone Place offers entertainment monthly. These events vary from Sing-a-long, dance performances, musical performances, to just plain fun.

Movies
Action!!! Grab your popcorn, sit back in your comfy leather chair with your favorite libation and get ready to view a movie in your very own Movie Theater. Matinee showings are available twice times a week and every Friday night is Movie Night as well as a Saturday afternoon matinee. Weekday showings include classic comedy, drama and action films as well as any resident requested favorites. Weekend showings are newer releases. If you are interested in being part of the Movie Committee please join us on the First Friday of each month at 3 p.m. to decide what movies we will be showing.

Fitness Frenzy
1… 2… 3… 4… Whether you’re looking for professional support for your fitness training or you just want to know how to use every piece of equipment in your fitness center, Keystone is here to help. New resident fitness orientation will teach you how to safely use all the equipment in your fitness center. Along with the use of the fitness center Keystone offers classes like: Yoga/Stretch, Group Exercise, Strength, Tai Chi and Aquatic Excercise. Personal training is available by request. Also, don’t forget to take advantage of a number of Keystone’s educational speakers/presentations on health and wellness.

Lets Go For a Walk
Friday mornings are a great time to get out, stretch your legs and enjoy some fresh air. Meet Laura in the Lobby each Friday at 10:30 a.m. to go for a walk around the surrounding community.

Cards in the Pub
On select nights, residents meet in the pub to play their favorite card games. These include a women’s birdge night and a men’s poker night.

Happy Hour
One Thursday of each month residents gather in the pub for a happy hour from 2:30-4:30p.m.. Keystone place provides an array of appetizers and drinks. This includes soft drinks, beer, and wine.

Games Galore
Inside, outside, you choose. Take advantage of the Keystone putting green and shuffle board court when the weather is right. When it’s not, choose from video games (Wii), card games, board games or billiards. There are always lots of games to play and great company at Keystone. The community has a number of groups that get together regularly to play games such as Poker, Bridge and Scrabble to name a few. Group games like Bingo are also offered on a regular basis.

Thursday’s are “Doctor Days”
Please sign up with the Concierge to reserve your ride to your appointment.
There will be a ride available each hour beginning at 9 a.m. and ending at 4 p.m.
All appointments need to be within a 5 mile radius of Keystone.
Information on alternative transportation is available at the Concierge Desk.

Community Camaraderie
At Keystone, we’re a family. As such, meeting together socially as a community is part of that experience. For starters, Keystone offers a monthly Happy Hour with hours d’oeuvers and drinks in your pub. Themed social events go on all year long. Mardi Gras, Oktoberfest, St. Patrick’s Day, Casino Night, High Tea are just a few examples. Every month it’s someone’s birthday and at Keystone we celebrate those special days with a community Birthday Party. Come and get to know your new family!

Get Out There
Keystone understands the need to get away from the community. Each month you have a variety of off –community trips to choose from. What pique’s your interest? The performing arts (theater/concerts), sporting events, wine tasting, dining out, parades/festivals, educational lectures and much much more….Keystone has them all. Don’t see it listed, just let us know. Our goal is to provide you the opportunity to attend as many different types of events as you choose.

Staying Sharp
Throughout the month there are various educational outings, activities, shows, and presentations at Keystone as well as a number of different applications to tease your brain. Whether it is trivia, foreign or educational filming, puzzles, or a class, your brain will be teased!

Element of Life
Keystone offers a variety of group activities including: creative classes, community groups, clubs and committees, and groups whom meet to share spiritual words with each other. If we do not have the group you are looking for, we will make it happen. In addition, we also provide guest speakers/teachers who come into teach painting, sketching, and other activities as well as speak about community safety, support, and care. If you can imagine it we will help make it.
