Community Activities
Club KeystoneA Symbol of Our Commitment
As a symbol of our commitment to provide our residents with a happier, healthier and more active lifestyle, Keystone Senior presents Club Keystone. This club, available at no charge to all Keystone Senior residents, provides the basis for all activities and events at our communities.
Club Keystone activities include the many and varied programs, events, physical, educational and social activities every day at Keystone Senior. However, as a Club Keystone member, you will experience so much more. Want to get involved as a volunteer? We will help arrange that for you. Always wanted to take piano or painting lessons? Let us help set that up. Interested in a riverboat gambling trip? Lets do it! French lessons? Oui, Mademoiselle. We could go on, but you get the point. As a Club Keystone member not only will you be able to take part in the many group activities offered at your community, but you will know you can count on us to help you pursue whatever your interests are.
Ninety-five Years Young
Dorothy D. has been very active all of her life as she spent most of her life farming. She is ninety-five years young and is still very active as she walks up to two miles each day. She prefers to walk alone so that no one can slow her down. Dorothy enjoys walking as she meets and greets other Residents and family members along the way. She attends most of the events including BINGO, PO-KE-NO each week and loves to converse during Reminiscing when she recalls many wonderful events during her lifetime. Dorothy enjoys going out to eat during the Diners Club program, especially to Steak n Shake. Her children are still very important to her and remain very attentive to her needs as they all take her shopping and out to eat each week.
Dorothy loves sitting outside in the Keystone Meadows courtyards and enjoys the many flowers. She also spends time checking on the raised vegetable garden located in the south courtyard, and waters several plants in the common areas on a regular basis.
Along with her love for nature, Dorothy collects anything with a cardinal bird on it. In addition, she collects stuffed bears, which fill her apartment suite here at Keystone Meadows.
Dorothy is an inspiration to us all as she remains very active and always has a kind word to say.
