April 9 - Residents will be going to Riverside
Casino.
April 21 - Residents and their families will
have a special spring family night dinner starting at 5:00pm
April 23 - Kennedy High School Play Cinderella
Throughout the month, residents will be playing Nintendo Wii
bowling, making home made ice cream, stuffing freedom festival
packets for this year's freedom festival downtown and music
with Blair Thorn, Judy Mehlert, Easy Listening Guitar and
David Poggenlkass.

April 5
– Empire Brass Community Concert at the Paramount Theatre.
April 6 - The Harry James Orchestra Community
at the Paramount Theatre.
April 9 – Trip to Riverside Casino.
April 10 - Mary Jo Pipkin will be starting
a Chronic Pain class (which will run through May).
April 23 - A trip to the Kennedy High School
Play Cinderella.
April 29 - Gary Bunce will be starting a
wood working bench project.
April 30 - Trip to Riverside Casino.
Throughout the month, there will be music by Mike Patterson,
David Poggenklass, Easy Listening Guitar and Judy Mehlert.
Lots of card games, Nintendo Wii bowling, water exercise,
shopping outings and social hours on Fridays!
The Gardens at Keystone Woods
Throughout
the month, the Gardens is offering the following activities:
Yoga Fit & Yoga Relax, two levels of Yoga weekly; weight
training once a week; Chair Exercise with Reenie one a week;
walking club once a week; Jewelry making with Sandy Merrill
once a month; Decorative Painting with Vi two Saturdays a
month; Relaxation to Music guided by two music therapists
once a month; History club meeting exploring American Colonial
history once a week; Book of the Month Club meeting weekly;
Garden Belles Women's Club meeting twice a month; The Men's
Club meeting twice a month; Health Special with Organic Holistic
food R.N. Kimberly LaDue, "What is Health?"; Weekend
CDs on Saturdays; cards nightly; BINGO three times a week;
Trivial Pursuit weekly; and M Power orientation with Deanna
Lawrence with 4 sessions available early April.

April 22 - "What is the Wii?" demo
offered by Cindy Oullemette, Physical Therapist from Sundance
at 3:15pm.
April 22 - ROGER HART Photojournalist at
7pm - A Nature-based photo journey with music and commentary
by a professional photo artist. A BIG favorite!
April 23 - United Way Silent Auction fundraiser
with - gifts, items, gift certificates up for the highest
bidder...Keystone steps up to bat to raise money for the United
Way from 10-3pm.
April 23 - World Affairs Council Lecture
at 7pm at Elms College.
April 24 - Trivial Pursuit contest with the
East Longmeadow Trivia Team.
April 25 - Symphony with Lunch out at 11am
- Romantic symphonic literature at Symphony Hall in Springfield
with Maestro Kevin Rhodes.
April 27 - "Make Your Own Sundaes"
at 2pm.
April 29 - Cooking with Marge - A spring
"floral" cooking class given by Resident & Professional
baker, Marge Kehoe who is an expert in chocolate creations
at 1:30pm. Very popular!
April 30 - Country stores & Antiques
trip to Woodstock CT, a quaint New England town with lunch
out, leaving at 9:30am.
Religious Activities
Mass, once-a-month;
Ecumenical service with communion give by Rev. Charles Summers,
a resident who is NOT retired, once a month; Protestant discussion
and sharing time with Pastor Greg Dyson once a month, transportation
weekly to Mass, Protestant service, or Synagogue; Rosary,
once-a-week.
