Spring is here, and the flowers are in bloom! On May 3 there will be a trip to Pella, Iowa, for the Tulip Festival. We will celebrate Older Adult American's Month this May with a senior dance, May 4, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. The Ken Paulson Band will be playing; the public is invited to come and enjoy a fun afternoon of good music and fun!
There will be a party to celebrate Mother’s Day on May 6 at 2:00 p.m. This year's theme is "Purses". Also the "Dress Barn" will be having a fashion show. Additional theme days include a 50's day on May 9! Dress up in 50's fashions today and have a 50's meal at lunch! And May 16 is western day. Plan on dressing up in western wear and get ready for a great western meal!
May 10 is fitness day from 10:00-2:00 p.m. with swim classes, facials, personal training and mini massages. A light healthy lunch will be provided. This activity is open to the public in honor of Older Adult American's Month.
Grayson House at Keystone Woods
On May 1 at 4:00 p.m., there will be a special supper trip to the Texas Road House. Ten percent of sales that evening will benefit the family of Jillianne MacDonald who has a chronic medical condition. Jillianne is a relative of one of the Residents who resides at Grayson House.
We will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo a day early on May 4! Special entertainment and a Mexican decorated market place will be the setting for our celebration held in the TV room at 2:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Also a Mother's Day social will be held on May 13 at 1:30 p.m. in the TV Room. Mary Morse will entertain on her concertinas. Refreshments will be served.
On May 18, photojournalist Roger Hart will present "Heaven on Earth", a slide show that will connect us all to another place and time...not to be missed!
Be part of the band and learn to play a rhythm instrument in Interactive Music Program with Lisa on May 19! Join Laurie Festa on Memorial Day, May 28, as she entertains on her guitar and serenades us with patriotic music at 2:00 p.m. in the TV room.
