Happy 4th of July!
Block Parties coming in July. Each hall will be having the July Block Party to celebrate with your neighbors. Come out and have a great time!
July 21 - Courtyard Cookout beginning at 4:30. Gary Warnick will be entertaining us during our evening meal.
July 25 - The Golden Aires will be entertaining us in the Activity Lounge. Come early and get good seats.

July 5 - There will be a van cruise to the beautiful Allerton Park in Monticello. After the cruise we will be dining out at Cheddars.
July 12 - We are going shopping to the Hickory Point Mall in Forsyth. This will be a great time to explore some of the new stores.
July 20 - A very special trip is planned to go to eat at LeChateau in Bloomington. The ambiance is terrific at this unique restaurant.
Keystone Place at Blairs Ferry
On July 26 and 28 Keystone Place will be hosting two seminars: Marian Arens, a Licensed Realtor from Marian Arens & Associates, will present "Tips on How to Sell your Home Fast and Get the Top Asking Price". Secondly, Becky Esker, a professional organizer, will present "Downsizing to a Congregate Lifestyle". The two seminars will be held twice each day from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and again from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Red Cross Building at 6300 Rockwell Dr. NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52410 (right across the street from Keystone Cedars). Keystone Cedars
We will be celebrating our 2nd year anniversary on July 19. There will be a picnic lunch followed by music with an accordion band and root beer floats for everyone.
On July 26 we will be taking a bus trip to go gambling in Tama. Lunch will be eaten at the casino. We will be getting back at about 4:30.
There will be an ice cream social on Sunday, July 30, outside, weather permitting. It is a casual time to sit back and enjoy each other's company while tasting a variety of different ice creams.
Western day is our theme day this month on July 14. Residents and staff are encouraged to dress up for the occasion. There will be some western music in the afternoon and a John Wayne movie showing in the theatre.
