Keystone Meadows
October 11 - Beginning at 2:00 special music by Verle Janes followed by the "Fall Treat." It's a surprise come and have a wonderful time with your friends.
October 13 - The Timber Lake cookout. At 11:00 we will be heading to the campground for a cookout and a visit with nature. Sign up now because this will be another great adventure.
October 20 - The 6th Annual Fall Festival at 5:00. It's party time in the Dining Room! Tina will be cooking her delicious Bar-B-Q again and party music will be playing. All Residents, Families, and Friends are invited to join us. This is always a great time.
October 31 - The Halloween party in the Activity Lounge begins at 2:00. Plan now to get your costume ready for the party. Trick or Treat!
Keystone Gardens
October 10 - The bus will be leaving at 3:30 to go to "Ted's Garage" in Clinton. This a unique restaurant with special food listed on the menu. You don't want to miss this opportunity. Sign up in the Activity Lounge.
October 16 - Pack your bags we heading to Galena, IL for the Fall Foliage Tour. For those who signed up for the "Galena Getaway," the bus will leave at 6:30. We have a great trip planned for you to enjoy the fall tour. We will be returning in the evening of the 17th.
October 23 - Beginning at 2:30 the van will be cruising to Lake Shelbyville. On the way home we will stop at the Old School House in Sullivan for an evening of dining.
October 31 - Trick or Treat! The Halloween costume party will be at 6:30. Come one - come all for an evening of excitement and find out who's who!!!
Keystone Place at Blairs Ferry
On October 20, Keystone Place will open it's doors. Stop out and tour the beautiful community!
Join us for the Grand Opening Celebration on November 12 from 2-4. There will be tours of the community, great food, entertainment, and prizes! Hope to see you there!
This will be a very busy time for the new residents, so we have kept the schedule pretty light. We will have several pool exercises as well as card clubs, pool games, cocktail parties, coffee hour, and trips to Target and Hy-vee.
Keystone Cedars
Keystone Cedars has a busy month planned for the month of October.
Summit school children will be coming every Friday to participate in activities such as singing and crafting with the residents for some one on one time.
October 11 - We are taking a trip to Bloomsberry Farm to have lunch and pick out pumpkins and have some fun! The farm has hayrides, a petting zoo, corn maze, barn museum, gift shop and much more!
October 12 and 28 - We will be planting bulbs in the gardens for next spring!
October 22 - Memory Care pot luck! Memory care residents and family are invited to a pot luck dinner.
October 18 - We will be shopping at Coralville Mall in Iowa City!
October 25 - Residents are going to Potter's Obsession where they will choose a piece of ceramics or pottery to paint.
October 30 - Trick or Treat night! Residents and staff are invited to bring their children or grandchildren in to trick or treat. Residents who are participating in the activity will have a sign on their door so that the children will know where to go!
October 31 - Residents and staff are asked to dress up for the holiday. Everyone will vote for their favorite costume. A resident and staff member will receive a prize for the best dressed! There will also be a pumpkin decorating contest. The winner will also receive a prize! At 3:00 there will be a Halloween cocktail party with drinks, snacks and fun!
The Gardens at Keystone Woods
Throughout the month, the Gardens is offering the following activites: Yoga Fit, every Monday; Poetry Workshop, twice a month on Mondays; Creative Writing/discussion, twice a month on Mondays; "Make & Take" cards: stamping up; twice a month; and Happy hour on Fridays in the p.m. with entertainment. Also, there will be a men's trip out to cruise the Connecticut River from Northfield, MA, all day, lunch out.

October 28 - Trick or Treat for youngsters/relatives of residents
October 31 - Facials for ladies
Religious Activities
Mass, once-a-month, Ecumenical Bible Study and Eucharist, once a month, Protestant discussion and sharing time, once a month, transportation weekly to Mass or Protestant service.
