Keystone Meadows
Come and feel the Holiday Spirit as we decorate Keystone Meadows with all of the beautiful Christmas trees and special decorations.
Enjoy Christmas at Keystone on the December 13. Our Christmas Tree Walk will begin at 5:30 followed by the Family Christmas Sing with Gary Warnick, and a special appearance by the "Grinch that Stole Christmas." We will also be serving homemade cookies and candies specially prepared for you.
On every Thursday evening in December we will be taking the Shuttle Cruise to see Christmas lights around the Decatur and surrounding communities. Please join us!
December 22 - Keystone Meadows will be sharing our Christmas Dinner together with our Residents, families, and staff. We look forward to a wonderful Christmas together.

Keystone Gardens
The Central Christian Church Women's Choir will be filling the lobby with the sweet sounds of Christmas as they come and sing for us on December 6 at 1:30.
Coming soon...Watch your calendar to see the schedule for the tour of lights. We will be taking the van out for several cruises throughout the month of December to see the Christmas lights.
December 16 - Anyone interested in dining out this evening? We will be going to Springfield to dine at the Chesapeak Seafood House. The ambiance is unique and the food is superb. The van will be leaving at 4:00 to begin a wonderful evening.
December 20 - At 2:00 the Keystone Gardens Christmas Celebration will begin in the Lobby as Gary Warnick entertains us with the music from the Grand Piano, followed by refreshments and maybe a surprise visitor with special gifts.
December 25 - Merry Christmas from all of your friends at Keystone Gardens!
Keystone Place at Blair's Ferry
Keystone Place construction is now complete! We invite you to come tour our beautiful community and have lunch on us. Call Lisa Cleland at (319) 393-7900.
There are water exercise classes every Tuesday morning at 9:30 and every Thursday at 4:30. There will also be a water pilates class on December 1 at 2:00.
We have personal training sessions with Home Choice every Monday at 10:00 am.
Jefferson High School will be here on the December 5 to do a Christmas performance.
We will have several special musical performances this month by the Dixie Land Band, Young at Harp, "Merry Tuba Christmas", and New Years Music with Mark Pence (piano player), and Jeff Athey (country gospel music).
There will be an evening outing to see the Christmas lights in town on the December 12.
We will be making Christmas candy and cookies on the December 20 at 2:00.
The chef will be having a cooking class for residents on the December 29. He will be focusing on making meals for two, and how to use leftovers.
We will be having a trip to the Dubuque Casino on the December 27.
There are lots of outings this month to the malls, grocery stores and other department stores. There are also many exercise classes this month including Tai Chi on the December 7 and 21.
Every Friday night at 7:30 we are having a social hour with good food and drinks and games. There are also several cocktail parties on the December 8, 22 and 31.
Our resident Christmas party is on the December 21. There will be music, a special meal and some fun activities. Residents are invited to bring a guest to the party.
Keystone Cedars
Cedars residents will have several Tai Chi classes on the December 7 and 21.
There will be musical performances by Jefferson High School, Merry Tuba Christmas, Jeff Athey, Judy Merhlert, Blair Thorn, and more!
There are lots of outings to the malls and other stores around town. There is also an outing to the Dubuque Casino on the December 27.
The Resident Christmas party is on December 21 at the noon meal. There will be music, a special meal, a visit by Santa and more. Residents will also be making Christmas candy and treats on the December 20.
Cedar Rapids hearing center will be here on the December 14 to do free hearing aid cleanings and hearing test for any residents interested.
The Palestine Study will finish up on the December 7 and 14 of this month.
The residents will also be going on a trip around town to see the Christmas lights on the December 18.
