FITNESS:
1. Chair Exercise every Monday 1:30pm. Attention to Whole body work outs adapted especially for seniors, emphasiing deep breathing techniques and range-of-motion.
2. Weight Training every Thursday 1:30pm with certified instructor from YMCA. Individual plans and supervision.
3. Walking Club – informal and on-going, weather permitting, on our beautiful grounds.
SUNDAY SUMMER SPECIALS:
1. 8/8, “Make Your Own Sundae”, all the toppings for 4 flavors of ice-cream, 2pm
2. 8/15 “Mystery Trip” 1:30pm to JB’s homemade ice-cream parlor followed by a scenic drive.
3. 8/22 , Enjoy “Orange Freezes” made with vanilla ice-cream and orange sodas, 2pm
4. 8/29 , Root Beer Floats, 2pm
COGNITIVE:
1. American History, topic: Am Civil War, lecture, discussion, 10am Tuesday ams.
2. SLide Show and lecture on Costa Rica, 8/10, 7pm with Biologist/Naturalist Sonya Vickers.
3. Slide show and presentation: “How Weather Rules our World”, given by Meterologist and T.V. commentator Art Horn- 8/25 6:30pm
4. Bridge and card games nightly, scrabble also.
5. Current Events – discussion and presentation of local, natinal and international events, twice a month.
6. Music Appreciation – sharing of all kinds of music with perspective and musical details given by the Director who is a Music Therapist.

CLUBS:
1. Garden Belle’s Women’s Club, meets monthly to plan social and fundraising activities through out the year. Garden Belles have recently held elections and will hold a 50/50 raffle in August to help their treasury. Funds are used to assist local charities, decided by majority vote.
2. The Men’s Club of Keystone Woods, plan programs and trips for men only, Also fundraise for local charities and schools.
ENTERTAINMENT:
1. 8/6 Hymn Sing, 3pm
2. 8/13, Liz sings country rock in an easy style, 2pm
3 8/27, Paul Recker sings and plays true Country, 6:30pm
4. 8/11, Karaoke Carol sings, dances and encourages resident participation, 2pm
MOVIES:
1. West Side Story, Paint your Wagon, Singing in the Rain, Weds. 1:30pm & My Fair Lady.
ON THE LIGHT SIDE:
1. Carol Burnett and Dean Martin Comedy hours on weekends
SPECIALS:
1. 8/24 Roger Hart Photo Journalist, nature films with music and narration, 7pm
2. Talent show rehearsals starting 8/5 2:30pm for the Show in early November.
TRIPS:
1. 8/6 Men’s club to Barnes Field to watch planes land and go, including f-15s, with lunch at the “Runway” restaurant.
2. 8/13, sail the Lady B, up the Connecticut River. Dinner first at the Dockside and entertainment on board. 4 – 10pm.
3. 8/11 3 -7pm Potluck bar-b-que and picnic at Spec pond; swimming availablre, beach and beautiful scenery, a favorite summer trip.
4. 8/18 Lunch out to Olivia’s Italian restaurant 12 noon.
CRAFTS:
1. Collages 8/31 1:30.
2. Knitting Club, twice per month, knitting for charitiable needs, womean of Keystone and teaching assistance also.
OTHER:
1. Shopping Cart every Wednesday pm, run by the Garden Belle’s, offering sundries.
2. Free facials with Mary Kay consultant Marie Bond, 8/26 1:30pm
3. Brunch offered twice weekly, 10 to 1pm.
RELIGION:
1. Religious services weekly in-house and Rosary weekly.
